I made one for the 07ers so it's 08ers turn.

Well the holidays are all but over, and school starts back next week. So what did you end up achieving in relation to what you had planned to do these holidays?

Oh and I know you 08ers are much like the 07ers but no :spam:ing or the thread will get locked/spam posts deleted.

Um well I got heaps done in all of my subjucts except maths. I am still freaking out about cultural value and all that crap for extension english but such is life. I'm looking forward to exams being over after monday week.

Crap, more sleep and gaming time. Started making notes though, and nearly finished. All my homework due over the holidays are done.

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY of the mid-semester break, or holidays for you hsc people

And I've done NOTHING

like, I planned out how I'd go about doing my 2 assignments and some revision in maths

BUT I NEVER DID IT

I'm farked! Fail time :(

we only had the one week break...i sure did nothing during that and getting more and more screwed for all my subjects and the like by the day..

i made a list of things to do in the holidays end of last term of about 15 things.
I ended up doing about 4 of them.

+i had three weeks =/

Whoops I posted in the 07 thread :( Oh well

this is mee

For School:

- wrote a 1500 ext eng essay (had to cut it down from 3000 words :( )
- wrote a short story for adv eng
- decided on my mod hist prelim "pip" and wrote my oral + slideshow
- wrote notes for biology
- wrote notes for ext eng
- wrong notes for adv eng
- biology report on transpiration
- three bio lab reports + one experiement at home
- 1500 ancient history essay on Spirit Cave Man (anyone have any resources? I have got 1500 words but I feel like I could condense it to 1200 if I had more info to put in..)
- wrote two film critiques for french

For Other:

- organising a study tour to redfern for Indigenous awareness (PM me if you are interested it's in July but applications close soon)
- organising a conference
- organising a reconciliation day at school
- organising an ANZAC ceremony at school
- organising a mentorship program at school
- SRC stuff

To do:

- final bits of my french summaries
- use text book to make sure I have everything in my bio notes
- edit and re edit short story
- check everything else for the upteenth time to make sure it's ok
- buy new books
- get more related texts for eng(s)

School on Monday! Can't wait :)

Gahh, I've been doing most of it in the past few days. I really didn't study. During the holidays...I did some research for my Modern History Assignment...but really...I just caught up on sleep and having a life. I don't know why they give us so much work during the holidays...it's quite ridiculous.
I don't think I have half yearly's. They're not on my assessment calendar. And they would've told us last term if we had something like that to study for.

i did absolutly nothing these holidays... i worked ALOT but only made $1200...i havent done any of my homework and now i am rushing to do "a local ecosystem feild study" for biology that is due first day back...and i have maths to do!
i am so dead!
