What do you think about the new Sony T1 CyberShot? Or even the T11 CyberShot..
I'm thinking of buysing one but I really hate Memory Stick cos i have a 128 SD card lying around in my bedroom and if i buy a Sony CyberShot then my SC card would become even more useless...
er anyway so what digital camera do you have? Or do you wanna buy?

don't buy sony!!
please don't
they are crap for what you pay for them

get a canon, a olympus, casio, pentax, kodak....

sony memory sticks are so incompatible and so hard to find something which supports it
where as SD or compactflash are so much better and CHEAPER!

i currently have a Canon S50
but wish i had waited for the S60
which is so much better, wide angle lens, more optical zoom, lighter, smaller has everything in the S50 but more!

i would recomend you a camear but i don't know what your price range is

i have a sony dsc-p32.
it annoys me cos it does strange things, like it will go really laggy for no reason, then next time it will be fine. (and i've checked everything - not temp, condidtions or anything external affecting it!)
it's quite old now... i would like a new camera but since i've only just spent my money on a 512mb memory stick unless i buy another sony it's a waste of time. so i'm stuck with it for the time being...

I've got an olympus mju 300 and think it's a great camera. The newer models are even better with more features, but this one is perfect for what I want.

Digital SLR, such a beautiful camera.
You bastard. I wanted to be the first to mention that camera :p.

I also have a Casio QV-R40 (an earlier present). It's a fantastic little compact.

You can probably consider any of the camera's in Canon's IXUS range that suit your price range. They're not exactly professional cameras, but are a nice range.

ive got the Canon IXY digital 4.0 mp. mine's from Japan cuz my dad went over there at the beginning of the year and brought it back home for me. i can't find it here, but i think it's the jap version of the IXUS 400.

i love it though - and the way the battery's charged. you pull it out from the camera, stick it into the charger, stick the charger into the power outlet extension thingy, and stick that into the power outlet.

canon IXUS range
IXUS400/S410/430 (same camera lots of different names) or IXUS500

would recomend 400 if you are just going to put pictures up on the computer, if you want to print things out or take it for development at a photo developer's place get the 500

or you can get the A75 or A85, which will get you more professional features to play with but is a lot more bulky
