Somewhere around 90.

Last year only around 8% of the candidates got band 6. I don't think i'll get in that cause I got a bad rank. :(

i think i can get anywhere from 85-95 raw, you can never know
my school assess mark of 75 doesnt really help my band6 aspirations though

I reckon 98 raw. The two things that I'm not sure about were 1 mark questions... that stupid polymerisation mass variation crap with that stupid graph, and that other question in the ind. chem opt. where I just couldn't remember whether we added sulf acid. Everything else was cool tho.... guess all those hours of study and notes making paid off, unless chem scales down, then I would be pissed.

i reckon some of us (including myself) are overestimating themselves... sometimes BOS markers are anal; if you didn't put **fact** or **eqn** into your answer, you can't get more than 4 out of 6 or something... those little marks add up for the big questions... >.<

yeh its criteria marking, if you dont have what they want, its marked as wrong, even if you show extensive knowledge

What happens if you answer all the band 5/6 questions to a band 5/6 standard and then get all the band 1/2 things horribly, horribly wrong?

if markers are feeling generous i could get 95+
if they decide to be a bitch then somewhere in high 80's to low 90's
good luck ppl

My teacher was worse, if you have things in the wrong order, she would not see it.
