My backup subject is Physics, and if I end up getting it for Year 11/12, I would just like to know what I would be learning in the subject.
And if you could provide a question from each topic and the formulas or whatever..

thanks :)

What you learn is in the syllabus. That's the first place you go to when you want to find out what you learn about in that subject.

This is the formulae sheet you are given.
This includes formulas for prelim & HSC.

Questions:

8.2 The World Communicates
Calculate the wavelength of a water wave travelling at 3m/s whose frequency is 6Hz.

8.3 Electrical Energy in the Home
What current is required by a 2400W electric heater plugged into the mains(240V)?

8.4 Moving About
A train accelerates from 12m/s to 18m/s in 12s. What is the acceleration?

8.5 The Cosmic Engine
What is the period of a kg comet that orbits at ?

thanks!!! but that looks soo confusing :(
Once you learn the content it makes a lot more sense. You'll also get theory based questions, not just calculations. Most of the calculations are just a matter of substituting the values &/or rearranging the equation.
