hey peeps,

i've heard my teacher in class mention this word alllllll the time, yet i still dont get it . I dont get what it means, which also brings to mind that I don't know where to put it in a sentence. any suggestions?? much appreciated!

Foregrounding something is the process by which you bring attention to something, putting it in "the spotlight" in a sense, to put across a certain message or whateva. [Cause the 'foreground' is the front! ]

Sounds like your teacher's making words up ... like our geography teacher had 'Geopictionary', and out RE teacher had 'Tangenting' ...
