u can play cs 1.6 my friend had it running smoothly on his p3 500mhz and he was dial up

most fun u can get optimally from that system (that's not TOO old) is probably Rise of Nations (and probably its expansion thrones and patriots too).

RoN = best game of 2003-2004 year.

and it also has my recommendations. best rts i've ever played 500000X better than aoe2

1 mb cache L2
60 hz refresh rate monitor LCD

last time i played CC generals, it fried my Video card for some reason and had to call dell and get a replacement. So rite now, im still fearing the frying of laptop stuffs....

Anyone got any game recommendations that would run fairly smootly on that system?
OMG CS 1.6.
dont tell me you cant run it with those specs.

Get the original Operation Flashpoint: Game of the Year Edition my good man. Its only $20 and is old, but worth it.

Dues Ex.
Ghost Recon.
Call of Duty maybe.
