What happens if i change my preferences now? what will happen to my main round offer (hopefully)? and also what happens to my offer received if i cahnge preferences after main offers are released?

Except you can't.

Yeah it won't allow you to do it. If you change it AFTER the main round offers are released, it will be considered in the late round

hes right, you will have to wait until thursday for "consideration in Late Round". (which will probably involve a fine).
If i was you i would take the main round offer, then transfer internally after a semester.

no, they do not fine you if you change your prefs for the late round

And nothing happens to the main round offer. It stands, even if you are made an offer in the late rounds.
