What if you got suspended and were eligible to move up to the next level? (1 Viewer)

I was thinking, what if your licence was suspended but you were eligible to move up to the next level? Could you just sit the test for the next level up, e.g. P1 to P2, P2 to fulls, get the new licence and then be alright? Nothing's happened to me, just curious.

i think if you hold off paying the fine (max 28 days) and go up a level, you do not lose your licence, however i'm not sure about points. you still have to pay the fine though.
correct me if i am wrong though

one of my friends tried this

fail

if you get caught on your red p's but then before u pay the fine etc you move to your greens it doesnt matter

they still do it on the license level you were on when you got done...so if you were speeding on your reds - even though you are now on ur greens - youll lose ur license -thats what my friend found out...
