I think i sort of understand whats going on, like all the techniques and aspects of the texts supporting a reading, but could someone define textual integrity for me?

It means you can sustain the reading throughout the text.

For instance in some texts you might be able to use a feminist reading in one scene but not throughout the rest of the text, that means that does not have textual integrity.

HI robbo!
This is out of 'Edible English' by Judy McLaughlin.

'The consistency of form, structure, and language of a text.' This means that the composer has created a text that is consistent with itself to produce meaning. In other words, the elements of the text flow together in a logical sequence to produce meaning.
