Hmmm....well when I study I usually listen to music that has no lyrics to it or in a different language ....its mainly cos I find that when I understand what the pplz are saying it kinda distracts me .... when its in a different language the singer sounds like a mad instrument!!

He he... Rammstein. His voice sounds like a very mad instrument.

Anyway, don't argue- Study music is a heap different to music you listen to normally.

In my case anyway!

I don't understand how people can listen to heavy music while studying.

I used to listen to rage against the machine but it just didn't work.

"Social reforms of Tiberius"
ZACK:"VIETNOW!!!!!!!!!"
"implemented bureaucratic system"
ZACK:"FEAR IS YOUR ONLY GOD!!!!!!!"

It just doesn't work

The music I listen to is Jazz, since theres no lyrics (in most anyway) its easy to concentrate.
Especially Grant Green, Art Blakey, and Other blue note titles.

okay...my study music

JJJ on monday nights (Groove Train = chillout, jazz)
george
instrumental music
Jay Chou (as its in Mandarin and I can't understand it - so it doesn't distract me)

or (mostly) no music at all.

maths is the only subject that I can remain focused on with music on at the same time...

ah...

I tend to listen to ambient, post-rock and experimental electronica when I do work. They are almost always instrumentals and they don't usually distract you that much.

Artists such as Autechre, Sigur Ros, Boards of Canda, Godspeed You Black Emperor usually do the trick.... Oh and of course RADIOHEAD!

Or nothing at all...

In fact I'm listening to Autechre right now...:D
