Accounting and finance. Just because it'll get you a decent grad job and future accreditation. Plus fancy words on paper looks good to shareholders. If you want to be a ASX 200 CEO just get first class honours fly into a top spot in PWC/Bank etc work there for 15 years(And be better than everyone else). Switch companies become a financial manager -> CFO -> CEO.

ASX 200 CEO is for the power hungry not the money hungry(At least amongst the top 0.01%)

Agreed with the above. There's a world of difference between ASX200 and ASX20 remuneration at executive/KMP level. Just pick out the remuneration report and look at the fixed rem components of the CEO and you'll see a stark contrast. An ASX200 CEO doesn't earn much more than a senior manager in an accounting firm.
