Heya - What marks are you expecting to get
1. for every subject
2. final UAI

and what do you THINK you will END up with?

I know that expectations and what you reckon you'll get are sometimes very different from each other so state what you want and what you reckon you'll get!

Well... my goal is the best possible UAI i can achieve...(to keep my options open) 100;

I expect to get a UAI of much less though.

Chemistry: 75
General Maths: 85
IPT: 85
Standard English: 85
Biology: 84
Legal Studies: 80

Which equates to a UAI of around... 85.45 in 2004.
But if we look at the trends it'll probably drop to around 82 for 2006.

I have an extra 2u though incase i stuff up; subjects i might "stuff up" in are:
Biology
Chemistry
Legal Studies

The other 6u Im pretty sure i will get close to; or my goal "Final" HSC mark... if i continue "improving".

So, I expect a UAI of about or slightly higher then 80.

I'm hoping for a UAI of 95+.
As with my subjects, the final marks that I think I'll get are:
Chemistry- 95
Economics- 95
English (Adv)- 92
Maths (2U)- 95
Modern Hist- 92
Physics-95

My current marks are not far off from what I hope to achieve.
SAM 2004 predicts my UAI to be 99.80, it would be so nice if I could get that. :)

But, I still have no clue what course I want to do in uni, well I guess HSC is more important atm.

Bit of hopeful thinking, but my current goals are:

UAI AIM:90+
English:87
Modern History:85-90
Business Studies:85-90
Maths:84
Studies Of Religion:85
History Extension: no idea at this stage.

Have to really bump up my religion and maths rank.

Judging by my current position and the performance of last year's Year 12 students:
English: 85-90
Mathematics Extension 1: 95-100
Mathematics Extension 2: 90-95
Chemistry: 85-90
Physics: 90-95
Biology: 85-90

I'm hoping that my rank in Chemistry and Biology will improve when I get my mid-course exams back. According to SAM that comes out to be 97-98, in which I'll be ecstatic if I really do get that....
Once I do get my mid-course exam results back, I will wonder what estimate UAI my school would give....

I am slightly stunned:eek: . You're all doing so damn well.
I look rather mediocre now... :mad1:

English (Advanced) - 55
Maths - 33
Art - 73
Hospo - 87
Business Studies - 76

Apparently that is a UAI of around 59.something, and I am hoping for a UAI of atleast 70 preferrably 85. Yeah, high hopes, little chance.
Although, to give myself some credit, my English mark was only so low because of my poor time management, something easily worked on and fixed. The sections I completed I got full marks for (Paper one sections 2 and 3). I made a poor attempt at Paper 2 (BNW/BR) and didn't complete paper one section 1.
Maths, well...I'm a lost cause. All the others I am sure I can pick up an extra 5 or so marks and hopefully improve my chances.
Early days still.

The first time I ever used that saying, I screwed it up.
Thinking I was all tough (year 8), I faced the guy and said "yeah, water floats your boat". That was embarrasing.
