watever order you wantttt

i advocate creative last because its the easiest to chop and change if you're short of time.

and i advocate comprehension first because you use reading time effectively.

Same as above. Best to do it in that order. Generally you should finish the first part earlier, then you can time your essay and then adjust Creative to the time, and it's the easiest too.

This is one of the few exams I do in order, but really, it comes down to personal preference.

you choose.

i do the worst last otherwise it freaks me out and i keep yelling inside my head 'crap! i've failed!'

so creative writing is my last :)

reading's good to do first. although i often leave the last bit of the reading right till the end cos i can't do it within the first 40 minutes.

Yeah, I go essay, creative, comprehension. That's hardest to easiest for me as well as most time consuming to least.
And I struggle most to remember my essay, so I like to just get in there and get it out of the way. And the comprehension I find easiest to just make shit up and still somehow to well. So I don't worry about it too much.

I go creative first. Since mine is prepared I can knock it over very early, same with questions

Then I'll have like an hour to write an essay.

I do essay, comprehension, creative. The essay usually takes a bit over 40 minutes for me and the comprehension less (despite me trying to balance them). And creative I just suck at, so I leave it until last.

Essay
Reading task
Creative

I prefer to get the learned work out of the way first, that way I'm less likely to forget quotes/points.

Then the reading task as it transitions me from analytic to creative thought.

The creative as I can wrap it up quickly if (when) i run out of time.

good luck everyone

I do it in the actual order of the exam
  1. Reading task- because you just had reading time and its fresh in your mind plus just get it out of the way quickly
  2. Creative- pre-prepared and I tend to finish it quickly
  3. Essay- will hopefully have 55mins or so for it because I need to (my pre-prepared essay is 1500words)
  4. Writing the last sentence of the essay, looking up at the clock and feeling relieved :uhhuh:

I've always done it in the set order, ie reading, creative, essay but you're all making me re-consider.....perhaps essay earlier :s
