I wanted to install Windows 98 on my computer but it wasn't easy at all.

I worked from 9am to 9pm for less than a fraction of minimum wage.

I sold myself as slave labour.

Then I searched long and hard for Windows 98 and finally found it.

Installed it immediately.

Then I found out there is a missing character from the licence key preventing me from completing the installation.

FML.
LOL nice post

Is there much difference between RC and RTM for Windows 7?

I'm currently running RC and finding it works great, I see no need to upgrade to RTM, but what do you guys reckon?

I hate to be THAT guy but i don't use and cant stand Windows.
95' was good and from there it was downhill. My PC uses Linux Kubuntu and also has Gentoo on it, just coz.
But my Macbook is where its at. I Heart Mac. (granted it did suck early on but now, DAMN. MAC == WIN)

Debian squeeze, with packages from sid and experimental. I'm not presently dual-booting anything but I have Win 7 RC in VirtualBox.
nice. i haven't had a good look at squeeze yet. is it any good?

Triple boot Ubuntu 9.04, Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP 32-bit (I need it for recording hardware)

Mainly use Windows though... and I'll probably get rid of Ubuntu soon... I don't really have a use for it anymore...

Windows = gaming
Windows = business
Windows =/= programming
Mac = arts/music
Mac = programming
Mac =/= gaming
Mac =/= business
Linux = programming
Linux =/= everything else

Reasons like that make it convenient to dual/triple boot

Windows can have all the same stuff that Mac does now (almost...) but Mac will always be known at the creative king.

Then after all those fist-clenching fits of rage I finally discovered Windows NT which is remarkably different from Windows 95 and 98's constant desire to display a Blue Screen of Death, which is Bill Gate's revenge to his mother for smacking his ass a pale blue in his childhood.

Then I realised a 5 year old child can count more numbers than the number of applications Windows NT runs.
