I didn't do that well in 1131 :/ What topics do you guys think I should study/not study at all for MATH1231 next sem? (I hate matrices. Their applications are cool, so I'm trying to use that as motivation)

If I were to pick one thing to take to semester two it would be a strong foundation of Linear Algebra.

Probably the most important thing.

But I would say the whole course is useful, but if you don't have the time the one thing I would focus on in your situation is linear algebra. You will be row reducing a lot, finding the inverse, etc etc next semester.
