What raw marks would be a band 6? (1 Viewer)

There is a lot of talk about SDD being a badly scaled/aligned subject.....
What I'd like to know, is what sort of raw marks should I be aiming for to achieve a band 6 based on previous year's performances.

hmm idk... my teacher said something about high 70s early 80s i think for a band 6

dont forget the scaling can change dramatically each yr (considering the small amount of ppl who do it)...

tried 2007 paper today got 84 :'(
should be getting 90+ for distinction course

our software teacher told us that his 2008 students raw marks were scaled by 15 marks

so i would say low 80s
