Is anyone here doing PDHPE out of curiosity? It's normally a popular course, but I don't know of anyone on BOS doing it (yet!).
Considering it because i'm a martial artist, i'm always constantly injured so PDHPE would be a good course but how much work is done, compared to its scaling is absolutely crap. Might take SLRS 1U

I'm currently in year 11 and my subjects include; PDH, studies of religion 2, english, legal studies, food tech, general maths
I'm just curious to know if I can achieve an atar of 90+ with these subjects..
You're subject don't scale that well compared to other subjects but with enough effort, 90+ can be easily attained. English standard or advance?

hey fellow 2015ers,

I'm still deciding my subjects but its something along the lines of
English Adv + Ext
Legal Studies
French cont
Italian Beginners
Mod. History (possibly ext. in yr 12)
and either Agriculture or Biology ( can't decide between the two)

I want to study either law or international studies (possibly combined degree) at SydUni or UNSW (however the ATAR cut off seems impossibly high >99.5)
Buona Fortuna per Italiano!!! :)

I'm doing:
- English Extension
- Maths Extension
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Modern History
- Legal Studies (good chance of me dropping it though)

Ugh, I'm still so upset that not enough people chose economics so it had to be cut off :(

My school is poorly ranked, but I'm hoping I get into a university program, so I can do B Law/B Science at USYD, if my ATAR is 95+ (Hoping to boost this chance by going for school captain)

If not, I really don't mind doing pharmacology or just doing my law degree at UWS

Quite excited for Modern History next year! :D

Do you actually believe that becoming school captain will boost your chances of getting a high ATAR? What. The. Fuck.

No, it's more than likely going to deplete my chances. Only reason I added that part in is because you get really close with the principal and our principal is the most biased person I've met. Don't think I'll make it, but if so; more chance of getting accepted into uni program (principal chooses ugh) = bonus marks = get into course
Eh, if not I'll just have to try and 4unit english my way to a high ATAR

- Economics
- Software Design & Development

No maths, so pumped for that! Hoping for 96+ and Comm/Law at a Go8 Uni

Hi fellow '15ers :)

I'm doing:
-Extension 1 English
-Extension 1 Mathematics
-Physics
-Chemistry
-Modern History
-SOR1
I wanted to Economics but my careers advisor said that I would be better off doing Chem, since my science marks are fairly decent, and I haven't done anything like economics before.

I want to eventually go to UNSW for Mining Engineering :)

If anyone needs a cheap chemistry tutor, I'm available to help you. I was ranked first in my selective school out of over 60 kids and have very extensive knowledge of chemistry. I charge $35 per hour and am able to help you understand the harder concepts in chem which are asked every year.

I should be right though, the creative writing for the yearly is on my favourite topic, crime writing!

You should've just went with the accelerated math, one less subject to study for 2015!
Business is basically memorising paragraphs after paragraphs
