Well maths was compulsory for me too (I'm doing the double degree in Arts/Sc, which i think is similar to liberal studies) and I did the lowest difficulty possible. It wasn't particularly hard, I was just too unmotivated to bother studying for it. The worst part was Maths screwing up what would have otherwise been a perfectly good arts timetable with only 3 or 4 days, turning it into a 5 day week, and then having to endure rants from the maths lecturers about how lazy arts students are.:mad1:
This year i'm moving on to Chemistry for the science side of things which is hopefully much better. As for ancient history, i'm moving more towards archaeology, which is more science based in the first place. Alistair Blanchard is a great lecturer for foundation of greece though

Subject to enormous change, once those credit applications are transferred. I'll probably drop down to about 18UoS or something per term and then resume normal studies next year, OR, do a few second year subjects now and then...bah, I'll talk it over with the science student office in that spectacularly brutal Carslaw building.

Aw, you're kidding me right? *grumbles* But thanks for the advice, Your degree is similar to mine, it was one of my top preferences.

It's not so much the 5 days as i'll often travel in just to see friends and skip my lecture(s) for the day It's more the having to get up at 5 in order to get to uni by 8:mad1: But you don't have to worry about that till semester 2 anyway lol
How exactly does liberal studies work again? It was one of my preferences too from memory.

Well, you have to have a major in Arts, a major in Science, 6 credit points of an analytical/communications subject and so many credit points of a language.
