Hey sorry I thought they got 100k coz that's what the first post read so, sorry if i'm mistaken, ok 60 something p.a aint that much, specially since Catholic schools get more that is complete bullshit
I think principals of catholic schools get something close to that, but I'm not sure. I know that they get more than state school principals. High school principals also get more than primary too I think.. but I could be wrong.Originally posted by TheBirdMustFly

yeah that's why your mum gets 60k, in the other thread i think someone else whose parent are teachers said they get 50kOriginally posted by glycerine
60 something p.a. is also taking into account that my mother's head teacher of welfare all the time i think, and half the time is head of her department and also spent about 6 months doing head teacher of administration... so that's above a normal teachers salary anyhow... oh yeah and she's a year adviser too
they didOriginally posted by Asquithian
As for the above...you just cant say my mummy deserves more...you need to be able to justify it.

i'd agree with jess, because at the moment there's only a very marginal increase in pay over the years. and also, if need be, overtime for extra-school activities like sporting teams, camps and school dances etc. somewhere in the league of $40-$50 an hourOriginally posted by hipsta_jess
start off on say 50k, with a pay rise (say 1k) every year for a certain period of time (say 10 yrs), then they stay on that unless they start heading up the food chain a bit higher.
