So we've already had one term of year 12 general mathematics...what has everyone thought?

I found it so dead easy, which is fantastic, coz then I can concentrate on my 4 units of english.

We've done Measurement, and Algebra and Equations.

They're not allowed to make that test count though. So you'll be fine.
Schools can't test the Year 11 syllabus 'directly' through any HSC asesments.

I believe Maths is the only subject in which they can put 20% of year 11 preliminary work into the test?

Our test in week 5 has

credit and borrowing
algebra skills & techniques
spherical geometry

Are you serious? But the the BOS is allowed to test 30% of prelim work in the hsc exam. That's why my school is using our half yearlies to test us on prelim work plus what we've done in year 12. And yes it will be assessed. It's worth 25% which is worse.

They are allowed to.. I believe its the only subject that it's allowed in.. but most of it is only concepts, nothing specifc to year 11 i believe (although they can lol) .. I find maths is good just do like heaps of different test papers so you get all the different question layouts..
