my subjects are I T , gen maths, stand eng, legal and business. im ranked the top 3 in gen maths and english and top 10 in rest.

what type of marks roughly wil i be needing in each hsc exam to obtain a uai of 90+

I suggest you try using SAM and playing around with marks to see what type of mark's you'd need to attain your desired UAI.

yeh but im not sure how much each subject will scale etc to find out the aligned mark, before scaling i mean what marks should i be aiming for

That would depend on your acedemic ability, something only you yourself knows.

i.e. I don't know whether Genreal Maths or IT could be your strong subject, or weak subject. etc.. So I can't determine what type of marks you'd get.

But on average for all subject's I'd say you'd need around a mid 80's+ as an aligned mark.

aim at band 4/5 for english (that is, more than 76 hsc mark) and 5/6 for the rest (more than 85 for each exam). Also get at least 2 band 6 subjects will help you get 90+

Most certainly quite a handful of students did that.

A band 6 in general math and aleats and band 5 in the rest of ur subjects should get you close or at 90's!!

But the problem there being is a mark in standard is better then the equivalent mark in advanced (ie an 86 in both).

So you dont need to get a band 6 a mid band 5 would help though
