krissy, if you've had problems at home that might have affected your studies, you could apply for special considerations.
talk to a school councellor or the principle. if it is a significant case, they will let youu go into whatever course you want.

i know someone who's done it.
do it.

I never spoke badly of UOW

she said she was planning to go to Usyd, but thinks her UAI won't be high enough.
I was trying to encourage her...

I could be bias and say UTS is the best university here in Australia and maybe the world rofl
But I guess each university has their positive and negative aspect
Basically when picking which university you want to go to you have to ask these questions
What course do I want to do?
Which university offers the courses I want to do?
Which of these universities would give me the best education I want?
Also traveling might be a concern to some...But really if u really want to do something and you think that the university is for you however, traveling is bum. Think about it this way...everyone make sacrifices...

However if you are lazy like me... transport is a big issue heahae

exactly why we picked UTS

cos it's right next to Central, and we live near stations with Express trains.

Yeah I guess, I might be going to UNSW because it has a course that I want to do. Has anyone heard of Photonics Engineering, it's the first year, and no-ones has heard of it.

Yeah, light is so awesome. It deals with working with Fiber-optics. lots of fun.

Compared to law, it's the most exciting thing since sliced bread.
