You know that two-bit one leaf sheet of paper that was circulated last week or something?

It was lame, poorly written and just plain shit, but I want to know what that website they mentioned was.

If someone could post the URL it would be much appreciated.

Wanker. YOU try putting together a 3000-copy publication without mandatory student union funding.

The site is www.ourbloodysrc.com.
He was talking about the publication itself, which means that printing difficulties are completely irrelevant.

I can, and have, made a better publication in my sleep.

EDIT: Also we ran off 250 16 page Libertas', and 250 24 page Protege's (or the equivalent of 10 000 of quah's publications, ignoring the extra labour going into stapling each) using only money from private donations, while the Union's money was used for funding o week.

Gronk, I'm still waiting for your reply in the Beachball thread.
Reply to what?

Your "argument" was mostly monosyllabic.

basically you don't understand how much the union does for you. I can't argue with ignorance, it just ends up going in circles. I really can't be fucked. If we meet in RL then we shall discuss.

These fucking people, they continually make sweeping statements, and never back the shit up.

When in their two bit piece of paper they said that the SRC beat up students, I figured that their website would explain it. But this is the on;y explanation offered:

My Story
Andrew Quah
ISA Director for Student Health and Welfare
Chair of the Independent Students' Association

In 2006, I begin my fourth year at the University of Sydney, and my second as a student at USYD's main campus. Over the last few years, I have seen a lot from our so-called representatives. Some of the less serious things include wide-spread corruption, electoral fraud and diverted funds. What upsets me is where those funds are being diverted, and that when we speak out against this corruption my colleagues and I are viciously attacked. On more than one occasion, I have sustained long-term injury as a direct result of "action" taken by a representative of the SRC - and the worst part about it is that it's our student fees that are paying these people to do this to us.

Why do I fight the student associations? I fight them, because while students don't receive the services they pay for, our money is being sent overseas to support terrorist organisations like Falun Gong. I cannot sit back and allow my representatives, using my money and speaking on my behalf, to do this. And because I've spoken out, I have been severely beaten twice by gangs of students financially supported by the SRC, and I have seen my friends threatened for nothing more than being my friend. The violence has to stop, and the only way it's going to stop is by making you, the students, aware of it.

Real convincing.

Especially all those facts and details.

Fucking idiots, how do you expect to appear credible with that vague, unspecific bullshit?

Just trying to give you guys the heads up so as not to look like total gronks in the future.

kthanxbye.

To call them free would be rather deceptive, as you've already paid for them.

paranoia - par·a·noi·a

1. A psychotic disorder characterized by delusions of persecution with or without grandeur, often strenuously defended with apparent logic and reason.
In this case, both persecution (severely beaten twice, lol) and grandeur (thinking isa important, thinking he is martyr to democracy etc)

I still have a copy of a receipt for $800 worth of repairs that needed to be done to my violin after one of those attacks - and I am still waiting for the SRC to honour my request for reimbursement of my $800.

The SRC didn't do it, members of the socialist alternative did, so get some legal action taken against them personally.

How the fuck can you possibly justify charging people to tutor them in English if you are from a non-English Speaking Background.
I assume you are referring to a spelling error in my post? Otherwise I have no idea what you are talking about. English is my first, and so far only, language.

Concealing.

You have a massive UAI, and claim to have done 4 unit English.

That is just not good enough.
Yes, I did realise afterwards that I had made a spelling error. I don't think this is a very big deal. This is not at all relevant to the thread.

And Phanatical, I'm not sure of the spelling of organization- google and microsoft word both accept either spelling. Like I said before, it’s hardly relevant. I think wiki must have been trying to make a point that I myself was concealing fictional information that I was of a non-English-speaking back-ground in relation to my tutoring thread. but I can't be sure. Maybe it was just a particularly lame piece of trolling.

I don't know what you mean by "you claim to have done 4 unit english". Check the board of studies "top achievers list" if you want proof. Look under 8th place in the state for ext 2 English.

Google and Microsoft use American English, because they're designed for Americans. Here we use Australian English, which is far more similar to British English.

Well, I'd say you've been fairly foolish in picking out a word of contentious spelling to try and discredit me.

How do you respond to my comment though?
