92 - barely studied... for example I got 15/15 for the first assessment (was a speech that I wrote the morning it was due).
47 - english extension 1.
47 - english extension 2 - written in the three weeks before it was due.

Ahhhh English.

extension 2 eng has horrible scaling, even if you get aligned 50/50 (without a state rank).
it's really hard to get well for ext2 by hard work, i think the marking is subjective. but hey, maybe its just me

im with u im heaps disapoointed with my mark
i knew it wasnt a 50 script or anything but
teachers from other schools n a ee2 marker said to me it was around 42/ 43 mark n i only got 35!!!
looking back now i think it may have been because i had a rape scene maybe the markers were really uptight about it...

uh ... wtf?

ee2 has super scaling. I think MX2 is only course that is better (excluding distinction and lang courses)

and if you do the work, its not hard to get 45+ for ee2. if you work hard from january to the hand in date, you would be expecting 45 as the minimum.

but I agree the marking is subjective, as is the marking with all english courses. which is why some people who do thier ee2 major works in the last few weeks still get very high marks (i think there is one in this thread)

nah the scaling is pretty meh
even if you get 50/50 aligned, it can scale to like 46/50 only

that's like an 8% drop

scaling for the other englishes are a bit better
