So I go to a rank 20 school, and I'm ranked 9/60, and I'm pretty sure from the strength of the cohort that the 9th highest mark is going to be a HSC aligned mark of about 93.

But I'm aware that your HSC mark is the combination of your raw scaled mark and the corresponding highest mark according to your rank.

I reckon I did dogshit in this exam, sad because it was apparently easy, I just didnt do any past papers :(, so what would a raw mark of 67/100 be scaled to (excluding the 93 I'm going to get from someone else)? Is it going to be a high 70's or low 80's? thanks

A raw mark of 70/100 in 2009 alligned to 86 HSC mark so i'm going to say that it would probably be low 80's though i wouldn't be too surprised if it was mid 80's since i actually think this years paper was harder then previous years, due solely to the fact that it was based on skills and analytical skills as opposed to syllabus content.

Agreed. 67 / 100 should be low to mid band 5.

So I guess hopefully I'm looking at an 87? (92-3 + my mark averaged)
