ok, so what wouldnt you put up with in a relationship, whats enough to make you break up with your partner?
for me, i wouldnt stand lying (id rather know the truth and be hurt than lied to) or infidelity.

dishonesty... and i guess if he was with someone else, that would be dishonest... unless he told me beforehand...

same... i know the truth hurts but i'd feel better knowing that he was telling the truth than lying to me AND doing something wrong.

plus, what do you think constitutes cheating? and what is a no-go zone in your relationship?? i know friends who will go ape at their bfs if they know they've been talking to their ex-girlfriends even online.... i reckon thats a bit extreme.

nah, i dont mind them chatting or seeing them as friends or whatever...once it gets physical, its a no-go zone as far as im concerned. i should be the only person they want to share saliva and various other bodily fluids with!

well if hes having cybersex with his ex-girlfriend, i guess thats the diff. It means hes fantasising and getting off on a real, live person, someone whom hes known intimatley before.

Whereas if hes watching/reading porn, hes fantasising about a fantasy figure, someone whom he doesn't know or like or has known before...

if cybersex is cheating, is thinking of sex without contact should be cheating too...

well the diff is, if hes just masturbating and thinking of his ex, you can't really stop that. but cyber involves the girl (ex) actually at the computer saying (typing) stuff which turns him on, and therefore she is actively partcipating in getting him off. Its the same with phone sex. If he phones up a sex phone hotline and talks to someone, thats wrong. Not necessarily cheating but wrong. If he phones up his ex and has phone sex, it isn't cheating but its in the same grey area as cyber. he shouldn't be engaging in "interactive" sex so to speak.

cheating is different from... stuff. its like, cheating is actually intimate physical interaction with someone else whereas cyber and phone sex inihibits this grey area in between meh and cheating where its not on but depends on how liberal the person is... does that make more sense?
