*sigh* reading this thread has made me feel a bit better haha.. cause i'm in yr11 at the moment but i wanna do ext.2 and yeah... your ideas helped me a bit.. cause thats what i thought EE2 was about as well... all the "philosophical" verbal diarrhoea but you guys have just clarified what EE2 is like..

also, i heard that you can only get scaled-up marks for your hsc and uai if you get a 49/50 for EE2 or your marks won't get scaled up... is that true?

I know i did critcal response... so I'll leave your subforum in a moment :p

The works in the showcase are a 60 or 70 out of 50.... they are the best of the best of the best! Don't think like that! Heaps of 50s are given out every year!

And as long as you have a passion for the subject, you'll be fine! Thats what it's all aobut.

That's just complete poppycock. In my opinion, anyway. I expect to get scaled up, so I'll be really miffed if I'm not, simply because I didn't get full marks or a mark off full marks.

I guess I too have to defend post-modern fragmentation, because I used it in my work. Then again, I had to. It was the only way I could justify my fragmented structure dammit. Same thing for my reflection statement. My "research" was pretty much zilch, so I took advantage of the opportunity to really suck up big-time. I had my fun in the major work, even though I know it's not appealling to everyone (it's personal! lol), so I had to work in my RS. It's not enjoyable, but I hope it gets me the marks I need for my UAI. I really, really, really, really, REALLY need them!!!!!!!

As for readable/philosophical, go readable. There's no point to a story if you can't read it. Annie Proulx is a prime example. I HATE THE SHIPPING NEWS!!! With a passion!!!!!! Grrrrrr!
