IAA - Institute of Actuaries of Australia

there are 3 parts to full professional actuary qualifications

part 1 and 2 can be done at university, part 1 is done in the single acst undergrad degree (3 yrs),

part 2 is done in the 4th year (of a double acst degree), or in postgrad

EDIT: after part 2, u are recognised as "AIAA" (associate member)

part 3 can only be done via IAA... after some exams... there's also a professionalism course u gota do, den 1 yr experience (if i remember correctly) before u are "FIAA" (fellow - full member)

i know this is slightly irrelevant but on average what is the % of people who get AIAA and FIAA? ive heard for FIAA its horrendously low since most people drop out of actuarial studies during the undergreadute program
