UMAT....wel...heard it's hard... my friend got around 99..but failed UMAT...so tat mean she can't do med?

story of 2 state duxes from last yr..
rejected in main round by their state unis..
the SA guy got a reprieve cos his interview rank was just high enuf and because of media pressures on the uni.. he got a manual offer later..

so yer if shes below UMAT average (top 40% of candidates can qualify for at least one unis interview..) i wouldnt hold my breathe to wait for it..

I've got BMed at Newcastle (HECS) as top preference, with every slot after filled with BSc/LLB at all the unis I could imagine going to. Not that I'd actually take them up.
