I have 6 periods, sometimes 7 or 8 depending on how many extension lessons I have that day (however, they go much over the time of one period - often 1.5 hours....or longer gah!); although, usually two of my periods are "study" periods...hmmm...... I haven't done work in one of them for a few weeks now hah!
At my school we had 6 periods (50 mins each) roll-call was from 9-9:20 then period 1. And if we didnt study extension subjects or hospitality we got wednesday off. They also had morning classes before school for hospo and extentsion that started at 8:30 till 9:20.
yep but u klnow my story.... 6 frees from dropping maths *best thing i did*

We have 6 periods a day, 52 minutes each. On Tuesdays they are 50 minutes long so that we can have an assembly in the morning. Extension classes are either at 8am or after school at 3.30pm.
Our school has 5 periods from 830 till 320 of 60 mins in length (last period is only 55) and one period, usually for extension subjects (mainly only history and LOTE extensions) from 730-830. Every 2nd week Year 12 gets Wednesday off but usually have to do assessments or have excursions on those days...and every other wednesday school finishes 55 minutes early (ie last period off).
