@ crazylilmonkee: of course !!! beach is full of sand (gets into ur shoes, euuk) and polluted sea water (Hg, Pb, Cu, etc etc...) and polluted air (NO2, O3... etc etc)

@ bubz: lolz, xiao doesn't mind being a fob =) well, xiao IS a fob... pretty fobbish ani way... (came here in 97, so yea =p)

@ rage runner: FINALLY some oneelse who dun like the beach ^.^

Well I can't really say I hate it, since I've never actually swam in it before :D

Only have walked through the sand, which was a long time ago.

but then again, beach in realty isn't nearly as good as in novels... weather's hot, wind's hot, wave rubbish every where, sand in shoes >< major uncool @@

actually no... considering that 85% of my school was asian, ~80% of my uni is asian and 25% of the world's population is chinese.

i was the only asian in my primary school :D well, except for a korean and another chinese, but she was like five years below me.


i think my high school... was definitely at least 70% asian.... including pacific islanders etc.

my school got about the same coverage of azns too =D

in fact both high schools i went to in aust has abt that many azn coverage =)

i feel special... oh wait, i should feel ordinary... ><

In my primary skool, 40% of the students were chinese alone...

Azns accounted for about 80% of the skool. The streets, shopping centres are largely asian populated/based- particularly chinese. HmmM...with that said, some of us may even feel strange when a blue eye, blonde haired guy/girl walks past. theyre like aliens lol :S

In contrast..if i was to walk thru the sts of deep south sydney , say sutherland... i would be the wierd looking alien.

if it wasn't for china i would still be in hong kong!! :(
well i do miss living in HK

but hey looking at it, if i had continued to live in HK i would have dropped out of High school and being a bum for the rest of my life...complete opposite to where i am today

I disagree i woulda prefer to stay in hk. COs its still ma home. Cos i really find english hard to get harder than cantonese

look...the fact is that this thread is pretty much dedicated to azns, Chinese to be specifically, ...with all due respect, i dont think you should be laughing...maybe its just a typo... it doesnt make you look any smarter or kick ass in english just by commenting on someone's language.
