When will i get my speeding fine? (1 Viewer)

I just recently got my Ps and i think i got caught speeding 1 or 2ks over the limit... Does anyone know how long it takes for the letter to get posted to you cause i guess i have tell my parents soon...

About 6 weeks I think... I thought the camera caught me back in April... still no sign of a ticket.

with speed cameras there is a 5km speed buffer. that is if you you are doing 64km/h in a 60km/h zone you are not really over the limit. the dashboard speed is off by about being 5km/h over. that is why the police should not be catching you if you go over by about 1 or 2 km/h for this reason. there is the margin of error.

Police can pull you over if you are doing more than 3km/h over the limit. I'm not sure with fixed cameras though.

I dunno but my dads a police officer, and he says that the cameras dont get you if your doing under 10% of the speed limit. Eg 66km/h in a 60km/h zone and anything less is ok.

What's it like... living with a cop? You must hear about all sorts of odd stories!
