I'm a scripter, an absurd scripter.

Oh, and she does drama and has black hair and looks like a Gargoyle on an 18th-century rooftop - that pulls it back to about 30, right?

I'm up to my first draft, but that's no yardstick, really.

I have about 3000 exceptionally crappy words, and no idea where I'm going to pull the other 5000 from. I've done about three serious edits on those words.

2000 words which I'm not sure exactly when they switched from sentences to just incoherant ramblings.

i'm not entirely sure about the writing process of scripts / stories / critical responses, but i'm sure the initial draft is used just to provide somewhat of a structure and theme to your work, sort of like a phase where all your ideas are pooled together. so maybe the less polished the first draft is the greater the potential to publish something innovative and amazing. i can definately relate to that sort of a concept, since a number of my early poetic works were basically to provide grounding for me and to determine what my style and clique exactly was in the bigger scheme of things

but yeah, continue writing and try to gain all kinds of feedback aswell, i think that is another really crucial thing to stop you becoming bored with your own perception of your work

I have written around 6500 words but it's starting to get hard to fit it in the 8000 limit. And freakin there's so many spinoff themes in my idea that i can't choose which ones to include -_-
ANd who are the bastards that finished? they deserve to be chained next to my desk so they can help me >=(

i'm sure it is very good. to be able to compose such a large amount of writing in a short time really must mean you're really thinking creatively.
