Where do i declare my major? (1 Viewer)

Hi, unsw guys.
i am doing b science (and mathematics :S)
and i would like to major psychology.
when i went through the process, there was this drop down box as i expected, and i chose psychology as my major and it searched.
Now i've finished my enrolment and i can log onto my unsw as a current student.
but in academic status it indicates that my plan/major is undeclared?
where do i declare it?
or if i have already declared, y wouldn't it show up?

oh.. so i am gonna stay undeclared till 2nd year?
'cuz i have other friends who has got their plan figured out. but they're doing double degree such as elec eng/comp science
but for me. science, plan undeclared.

oh yeh. about that permitted clash. i have one in second semester.. is it bad???
i was told that if i could enrol with it, then it's fine. but i feel very insecured... (like most of 1st year)

to get a major just do the subject program sugessted in the handbook- and then u'll get that major!

hnmm but doesn't that mean i'll have to miss one of 2 lectures?
wouldn't that greatly disadvantage my learning?

I have that too..my majors are now undeclared (since i transferred) - I suggest you visit your Faculty office about it

B Comm co-majoring in Finance and Marketing.. i too have that plan undeclared. Should i get off my ass and do something about it ?

Yeah, go to the FCE student centre in the Goodsell building and fill out a plan change form

Just get a friend to take notes ...
