ok, so foundation day is coming up this thursday (august 3). i hear there's a whole lot of stuff happening in the quad lawn, but ive only got a 1hr break between 1 and 2pm, so i'll probably go check it out.

anybody else doing anything half-interesting on the day?

There's usually a list of events and stuff with guest comedians but I can't find anything, so I guess this year they are cost cutting and not doing much.
Don't think I'll go this year then....

Afaik they were used cause there was alcohol inside, so they checked people for 1) student card 2) ID on entry

We had streakers run through our lectures today, haha

Many people in New College were quite removed from their face before even 11am. We were doing our own thing down near the south-west end of the VG this morning. Security told us to pack up and leave

lol! Seriously?? Man how come every lecture I end up going to, has at most a funny lecturer like Mike Archer..nothing more xD

Though alot of uni students were kind of drunk, especially if you walked past the pub and its surrounding area.

the quad was so empty compared to previous years

it was soooo dead when i walked past at about 8pm... there were only like 50 people in the concert area, with another 100 or so walking around

I think maybe they had less money this year.

It was really really dead at 5pm. I popped over to Quad area and it was...well...not all that fun.
