A lot of first years have trouble adjusting to this, but once you get the hang of it, you're better off than other unis who go slower in the practical stuff.

does international prestige means the eyes of the public of people from other countries?

.and I thought USYD had the first international prestige cuz its "SYDNEY" which is the most famous place in Australia. "SYDNEY UNI". and I thought noone knew even ANU existed internationally

So your hypothesis is that more people overseas have heard of sydney than Australia.

If studying at a 'prestigious' university is worth that much, you wouldn't be studying in Australia to be perfectly honest.

Australia and Canada is just riding the anglophone university ranking boost and the "research or perish model."

University is what you make of it. Oh and Studying overseas as an international student... Breaks the bank quite a bit.

False, connections (who you know) and your family heritage matter more.
