Which phone to upgrade to? Choices Choices :( (1 Viewer)

Its a while away, but I really have no idea what phone to upgrade to in a few months time.
I've narrowed it down to about 3 phones but I am ready for suggestions.

LG Arena:

Sony Ericsson W705

LG Renoir:

I've heard many stories about all 3 some good some bad.
Your thougts?

im personally a massive fan of sony ericsson, i got a k800i and its very awesome.

i'd get a new model SE, one of the C series, but thats just me.

if u got the money then go for an iphone.

Well there are two LG's there, so you have an easy choice. Get the Sony. Or a Nokia. I assume you are deliberately avoiding the iPhone?

Yep 6300. Everyone has them but fuck they're incredible, can withstand even the highest drop.

Well there are two LG's there, so you have an easy choice. Get the Sony. Or a Nokia. I assume you are deliberately avoiding the iPhone?

I would get the iPhone but its out of the price range/cap choices that I'd get. I'll have to research it too.

That just about sums up the LG choice then I guess I might have to give them a miss. A few mates have the Viewty and it is just really slow to use.

Funny you mention the k800i its the phone I have atm. Its held up very well.
There is the C905 which looks alright but it doesn't really stand out that much. I will look into them though.

LG's arent bad, had one since yr7, dropped it like 10 times from a considerable distance, and not one malfunction (cept a corrupted SD card which got screwed over cos it was shithouse).
The Renoir apparently has really bad touchy stuff :S, despite its awesome camera (ie unresponsive and the such), that isnt to say that it isnt well built
personally id wait for the next LG arena (look what happened with the iphone) as it is designed to compete with the iphone
and as for the ericsson, the sound quality is great only with headphones, done even think about blasting that on the bus/train with ur friends

therefore, dont upgrade
