Bruce Lee is the king or kung-fu. Nobody will ever replace him; and you know his moves were real cause there were no special effects back then. Jet Li is also great and makes great movies, except he is often assissted by special effects so you don't get a an accurate picture of his true skill.
Jackie Chan is just plain weak.

jacky chan by a mile. he's the only guy who can mix incredible fighting and acrobatics with humour in his movies. The other guys are way too serious.

wasnt jet li a former martial arts competitor?

I like Jet Li's films way better.

Bruce Lee...well he's dead. Plus he makes too much noises. Less talk more action.

Jackie Chan...all his movies are the same. He gets the shit beaten out of him. Smashes his face against every object in view. And den sumhow he gains strength from this and beats the enemy, who unlike him gets knocked out in a sec. Because of the character of his face, he makes things funni by acting unco.

Jet Li. What can i say. The only reason mel gibson beat him in lethal 4 was coz he had a weapon. Juz listen to his name JET!

Ok i will answer peoples question here. Jet Li is a true martial artisits where he was in the demostration team who were 8 time champions for wushu which reuqired tottal dedication like 6 to 8 hours a day for 6 days a week. He met President Nixon, had an opportunity to become a diplomat (or was for a while not sure about this), went to a mratial arts school, trained in both the modern and ancient style of wushu, but in "The One" he showed some other elements of other arts such as shinghwa or something like that, stared in the famous once a upon a china series. Also, another thing, he is actaully a very good tournment fighter or even street fighter for that instance because of his vast experience.

i agree Jackie Chan is over commercialised.. his films don't have much substance anymore.. Bruce Lee is a legend, so out of Jackie and Jet, i prefer Jet. he's martial arts is stronger, and he still has a lot of potential. jackie is in quite good shape for a 48 yr old might i add :)

I agree that Jackie Chan is very fit for someone his age and the thing is he is still working very hard making at least 3 films or 4 films a year. From his auto I read, it said that he makes his life intesting by making as many films as he can, and keeping himself as busy as possible. I have to admit, I wish I seen him take on a bad guy role, beacuse also in his auto, he said he will never have sex or be a bad guy in the film. But still, I guess he wouldn't fit into that bad guy image anyways I suppose.

bruce baby

bruce lee and jet li both trained at the shaolin temple, and chan and li both at the opera which is a totally physco acrobatic school in china or osmething where they make kids stand on their heads for hours and stuff. btu u cnat go past bruce. He is a sizeable lad, all from body calistenics and no weights, and he was always training. i heard he did all up at least 1000 pushups a day

also apparently he is one of histories most perfect example of the human body, symetricaly wise and 0% body fat and all that. Not to mention how quick and effective he was, and that he founded a kung fu ryu (even tho jet and chan still have a lifetime ahead of them) and who could forget the one inch punch

but jet li movies are probably more entertaining, seeing as he can do all the kicks. most of the cgi is just to make his kicks actually kick a pool ball or omsething. Cept for "the one"

you know what? Matrix... as cool as it already is with all its different styles has casted Jet li for the rest of the trilogy. what more could a matrix enthusiast ask for

But i still cant pass jakie's amazing flips kicks tricks and the small areas he can make his body fit through.
I cant find what martial art chan did on all his sites tho, can someone help? I'm assuming kung fu

if u guys wanna seee some serious kicks flips and tricks go to www.bilang.com
at http://www.fighttraining.com/ there are some cool tournament clips
but for some hardcore martial arts action that kills chan lee and li, go here http://www.fighttraining.net/Fight_clips/HUMOR/kunfu_movie.mpeg

To be more correct, Jet Li was in the demostration team that toured around the world showing Wu SHu which by the way is going to be in the 2008 Bejing olympic. I wouldn't be supriesed by your comment about them doing 1000 pushups a day, in that in the Jackie Chan auto (Very interesting) he had to do really serious exercises such as a hand stand for 2 hours or soemthing like that. U can see him do that in one of his first American movie Rumble in the Bronx before he answers the door. Also, he had to live in really fithly conditions like with 10 other guys in the school with a blanket that smelled like piss. But still Jackie Chan has a heart like gold, and I am suprised that he has grown up being as gentle as he is even though he was abused and hit alot. Another thing is he is also like us in that he is lazy :D . When his master was away, during the exercise, he would rest, but I guess it isn't the same lazy as us:eek:
