Which subjects have final exams? (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I am currently picking subjects for my exchange semester at UTS. I found some interesting subjects which I would like to attend. BUT for practical reasons, they all should not have a final exam, so I can quit uni earlier and start travelling

My question is: Where do I see if a subject got a final exam or not?

I tried to find that info in the Handbook - without success.

When I build my timetable via the class timetable builder, would a final exam show up there? AFAIK not?

I don't know where you can find this out
you usually find out assessment components when you start the subjects in the subject outline

maybe say your potential subjects here and someone might be able to tell you if they have finals or not.

Some subjects do have final exams like business and law subjects where as other subjects from faculties like humanities may not.

i think most of the humanities subjects don't have finals as they have hectic assignments during semester.

as joe said steer clear of business and law subjects because i'm pretty sure most of them would have a final exam (in my experience anyway).

And id assume most science / engineering subjects would have a final exam as well.

All humanities subjects except for one second year pub comm subjects lack exams, as do a fair portion of education and design subjects. So far as I know, everything else that is undergraduate level at UTS has exams.
