just wondering what unis you guys are thinking of entering and why.

i'll get the ball rolling:
unsw coz it already feels like i go there anway.
strange i know, but i grew up around that area and went to sport at the uni gym and it's got the course i want anyway.

Uni of Syd is pretty awesome to me

Usyd or maybe Macq. UNSW is so far, the travelling is putting me off. But who knows for now.

UWS. Probably for Computer Science.

It's close by, i'm near the Penrith Campus, so it sounds pretty sweet.

I want to go to UTS, and have pretty much always wanted to go there.

oh i had a uts phase too.
and a usyd one.
but i've settled with unsw.
and yes the travelling component of going there is a bit of a biatch but i love the atmosphere there.

ANU, preferably. I don;t know why, probably because I want to be a politician and federal politics is based there, but also because I like Canberra as a city and I hate hot temperatures.

Second choice is Newcastle, simply because I grew up there and it's a kick-arse town.

What careers can you get with an international studies degree? I could only think of diplomacy...perhaps interpreting?

You get to choose what language you want to major in and you spend your 4th year overseas in a country that speaks that language.

Want to go to Germany of to the US for Latino Studies.

That rules me out - I don't want to learn another language because i'd forget English.

I've heard about that, sounds like fun!!

But UTS it lacks the feel of a uni to me, (- it lookes like an airport!) oh yeah and grass - needs more grass.
