How does what he believes not stick with his party? What morals are you talking about?beccaxx said:i was a supporter of liberal for always before. but i really like beazley, he has a really good moral stance, which actually doesnt quite stick with wat his party believes so go the christians.
even if he is on the wrong "wing" apparently.... he still has a lot of the same beliefs as wat ppl r supporting on the other wing

Just become a police officer and do what we say.frog12986 said:for example, if sociological findings that external factors are a major determinant of individual behaviour are so correct, then why haven't we as a society focused more heavily upon the stablilty of social structure, to prevent detrimental behaviours from occurring. On the other hand psychologists say it is purely individual and the workings of ones mind produce certain behaviours... i.e. behaviour at maquarie fields...
Here are two totally contrasiting academic opinions which haven't actually solved the problem. They've identified issues for sure, however have not been proactive in developing ways to solve them....and if they have the solutions aren't implemented on a large enough scale to affect society as a whole... Now your doing law asquinthian so I won't win the argument but at least you know part of my point...
I didnt say we shouldnt have them, nor did I say I knew more... I was merely stating that they have minimal life/practical experience which is often more beneficial than intellectualism....
BTW im primarily talking about academics in scoial sciences/literature....
And that is a huge problem... we have too many full time career politicians who have never worked a day in their life....
We won't vote when the name of our leader is spelt incorrectly.Not-That-Bright said:What's with this poll? a bunch of new howard supporters joined the forums or do the lefties of this forum possibly hate kim?

yea I do sorrymatt#1 said:when you say Beezly...do you mean Beazley?
Malkin, i'm not voting for a 'friend', i'm voting for a leader.malkin86 said:Do you even need to ask me?
*salutes* Mr Beazley, I've got ticker!
I think Howard is sort of stuck, he spends a lot of time talking to the media, but still he seems standoffish and, I dunno, not one of us. And I don't mean "unaustralian" or whatever, but perhaps not one of the common people.
The one time I saw him IRL, he was too busy to smile during a parade, too busy looking like a serious leader for the cameras on what should be a happy day for all... His wife could afford to smile and wave to the people below, but he couldn't?
frog12986 said:Beazley is a Rhodes scholar... need I say more... academics are inadequate to develop policy as they only pay attention to their useless studies which hold no practical usage... they've never worked a day in their life and try to find a politically correct explanation for every ill that exists in society...
