Isaaq, mentors were given letters. Did you send an application? If so, you should probably contact them. I'm guessing even if you didn't make it you would expect a letter saying so right?

Yeah, I'm a mentor too... my boyfriend guilt-tripped me into it... I'm pretty sure they accept everyone, especially seeing that some people just dont show up to the training or orientation.

what makes it funny is the second sentence of the letter:
"we were impressed by the quality of your responses and feel you will be a valuable addition to the program"

and i don't even remember filling out 'quality responses' let alone having a response for most of the questions on the form...

yay i got my letter. now I feel validated. i'm not going to the training day tho as it clashes wid some other stuff (i.e. beach day). do u get to keep the 'ask me' shirts?
