Johnny Depp-he just seems to fit into any role he's placed in. I don't know how many of you have seen him in What's Eating Gilbert Grape but all I can say is wow. Leonardo Di Caprio is also amazing in that film.

Oh, I also agree that the parents of Madeline Mccann deserve an oscar. And every other acting award available.

Oh fuck yes. DeNiro playing Jake La Motta in Raging Bull was possibly one of the best acts done by anyone ever.

But the best performance ever goes to Al Pacino for his portrayal as Michael Corleone in The Godfather Part II.

I'm glad nobody's said Marlon Brando. Allegedly regarded as one of the greatest actors of all time. I think he's massively overrated.

My vote goes to De Niro.

Matt Damon in The talented Mr Ripley (as much as i dislike that movie)
