i dont get what people mean by cheap hair straighteners stop working in 6 months...like if you own a babyliss Pro like i do, will it not turn on after six months?

alternatively, get one off ebay. you save heaps.

Basically what makes a great straightener is the technology. If the straightener has ceramic/tourmaline ion technology then you know you've bought the right one.

GHD's rock, but there are other cheaper brands that work just as well, because they use the same tech.

eh i have some random ceramic one my mum bought me for my birthday ages ago, it works alright but after a few hours (or if it rains on me) my hair starts to get shit again

i'll probably get around to buying a better one eventually

I have a Cricket StraightCrazy. IMO, works better on my hair than a GHD and was only 80 bucks.
