Going to Uni part time, and working with an accounting firm?
Applications for that come out half way through the HSC..

You can do that, but failing that, wait until next year to apply for Summer Vacation/Internships.
Big4 firms usually offer you a graduate position after completing an internship (I have lots of friends that have done this).

i realised, but yea, i find thats the most hardest thing to do full time work and part time study. while full time study and part time work would be easier IMO.

Hey there,

The big work experience programs for first years, aside from catedships, are those run by CA and CPA. The programs are called CA Acheivers and CPA Passport (I think). I did CA Acheivers and it was really, really good. You can apply online in July/August at www.flyhigher.com.

its very tough to get in, i think they only take 3 in each firm or something, i know a few who did CA Achievers, you get paid well i think and they bring you to the real work straight away.
