I think another 'higher up' teacher had to approve whether you got a detention so maybe that's why I didn't end up getting the detention.

in year 9 my friends and I got detention bcz we skipped class to clean these gross outdoor bathrooms (3 cubicles) that nobody used, so we could turn them into cubby houses with plants and fairy lights. we were caught by the school principal scrubbing the walls and everything LMFAO I actually cackle every time I think about it
