My chemistry teacher has said that in the HSC exam 30% of the exam can be preliminary based questions, and any other amount of questions can require preliminary work knowledge. Now I'm aware that either way, even for course work, prelim. knowledge is required anyway (e.g. mole/molarity calculations etc), and thus some questions can require prelim knowledge, though is it true that up to 30% can be direct prelim question??? I know that the HSC Mathematics will definitely be 30% prelim questions, though my Physics teacher said that for the physics exam it's almost certain they won't ask anything preliminary. i also can't see any Bio exam q's being prelim. So what about the chem exam?
