hi i was just wondering if ne1 knows what the caravan and the gaudiness of the caravan is meant to symbolise?

i think, that it is "shining with newness" means they are really keen to go on an adventure, but havnt yet. . . especially toad.
and the fact that it is so decked out with everthing, it is just like a home, and therfor all the colours and the fact that its gypsy represent toads personlaity- his excitment and whatnot....

and the gypsy caravan itself... the whole intergration of the gypsy concept incoporates that lifestyle of moving around (going on... journeys!!)
