hey everyone,
currently i am sitting in boiling hot weather in fiji and its 1am!!
crazy ay
i'll be here for the next week and a half
reason: my nan passed away and i wanted to be at her funeral

my mum told me bos called so i called em on my mobile and i got a response
they told me i didn't get 99
i got 97!
they had mixed around my assessment mark with my exam mark
of 95
fuxors
oh well nothing can be done now
i asked if it will change my uai and they said to call up uac
so thats sooo fucked
they said they hav informed uac of the changes and that i should contact them if i hav any hesitations and boy do i hav hesistations
damn this sux..
i dont know...
see how its goes ay
i am callin em first thing tomorrow
and find out what is happening
i also asked why i wasn't present on some of the lists in the papers and they said it was a general mistake.... they hav gotton many complaints off students who hav earned their marks and hav not been placed in the papers or on the internet site

God that sucks... well it's still a fab mark... but how mean of them to "change" it on you!!! BOS are bastards!!!!!

Happened to me to!!! Although, overall result (ENTER in this case) went up by a measly .25. VTAC calculated the ENTER using the incorrect score - Physical Education (predicted rather than actual score). Fist words when I read the letter were to the effect of sarcasm "woo hoo".

Even though I don't understand the HSC scoring system - your result sounds impressive anyway!

If they make the mistake, I don't think that they change your UAI.
Cos I remember someone saying that in the remark, if someone ends up with a lower mark they don't alter the UAI.
I dunno if you already know this, but yeh, your safe with your 99+ from what I know

lol, don't worry as long as u get into ya course- thats all that matters.

but yeah, i though if BOS made a mistake by giving u more marks then ur supposed to- then they aren't allowed to give u a lesser mark- i heard it from someone at BOS itself: as this was their "policy"....so yeah, contact ya lawyer.
