i dont do sac but if you're really worried about the word count maybe 'unfacy' some sentences, i mean like make the 'unnecessary' sentences shorter and straightforward like:

Original: "Through the portrayal of rejecting vulnerability as a weakness and the societal damage wrought by gendered power structures, Othello and Adolescence demonstrate that critique of patriarchy transcends time and place."

Less fancy: "Othello and Adolescence show that challenging patriarchy is a timeless issue by portraying how rejecting vulnerability and enforcing gender roles cause harm."

[yes the original is my sentence for my eng exam that i think i failed bc i went completely blank during the exam]

Here's an image from (and a link to) the NESA offical website about the word count. 5500 at the most, 4000 at the least once you've accounted for your log, introduction, conclusion etc. They don't count the resource list and although I'm sure they wouldn't notice if you went 100 or 200 over the limit, any more than that and you'd probably get marks taken off for lack of coherence or effective communication.
